Our Vision

Our vision here at Harvest Assembly of God is to reach the lost and develope them into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

We value:

  1. Gods ability to transform lives through Christ Jesus and his word
  2. The lost and desire to reach them with Gods love
  3. The word of God and its ability to stimulate christian growth
  4. The Holy Spirit and his power to help christians live victoriously
  5. Jesus Christ and devote our lives to pursuing Him and His will
  6. Annionted teaching and preaching in the word of God
  7. Close, intimate, covenant relationships in the body of christ
  8. The church as a community of believers serving one another and the lost through God given talents and gifts
  9. The leadership of God-called men and women in the church
  10. Worshipping God in spirit and in truth
  11. Children and the desire to see them grow spiriturally, intellectually, physically, and emotionally
  12. Prayer as our vital daily communication with God 

What we Believe

WE BELIEVE:

~ THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED AND ONLY INFALLIBLE AND AUTHORITATIVE WORD OF GOD.

~ THERE IS ONE GOD, ETERNALLY EXISTENT IN THREE PERSONS: GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY GHOST.

~ IN THE DEITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. IN HIS VIRGIN BIRTH, IN HIS SINLESS LIFE, IN HIS MIRACLES, IN HIS VICARIOUS AND ATONING DEATH, IN HIS BODILY RESURRECTION, IN HIS ASCENSION TO THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER, IN HIS PERSONAL FUTURE RETURN TO THIS EARTH IN POWER AND GLORY TO RULE 1000 YEARS.

~ IN THE BLESSED HOPE - THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH AT CHRISTS COMING

~ THE ONLY MEANS OF BEING CLEANSED FROM SIN IN THROUGH REPENTANCE AND FAITH IN THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST

~ REGENERATION BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL FOR PERSONAL SALVATION.

~ IN WATER BAPTISM BY IMMERSION

~ THE REDEMPTIVE WORK OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS PROVIDES HEALING OF THE HUMAN BODY IN ANSWER TO PRAYER

~ THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, ACCORDING TO ACTS 2:4, WITH THE INITIAL PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES IS GIVEN TO BELIEVERS WHO ASK FOR IT.

~ IN THE SANCTIFYING POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BY WHOSE INDWELLING THE CHRISTIAN IS ABLE TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE.

~ IN THE RESURRECTION OF BOTH THE SAVED AND THE LOST, THE ONE TO EVERLASTING LIFE AND THE OTHER TO EVERLASTING DAMNATION.

Mission

  1. Evangelization of the world (Mark 16:15-20)
  2. Worship God (John 4:23)
  3. Biulding a body of saints being perfected in the image of his son (Ephesians 4:11-16)
