Edward  Jordan grew up in Shreveport, La. From a very young age he knew there was a call of God on his life to be a 'preacher'. His daddy built him a little pulpit and he Preached his first sermon at his home Church of Glad Tiding Assembly of God at the age of 6. His 1st grade teacher heard about this and she let him come and preach for show and tell. He went to Class and tried to do everything just like his Pastor and Hero Rev. J.M. Cason. All Edward ever wanted to do was be a minister he never wanted to do anything else, "it was God's calling on my life."

Pastor Jordan has served as a Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, Royal Ranger Commander, and Associate Pastor. Now as Pastor, along with his Beautiful wife Renee, of Harvest Assembly of God in Hemphill, Texas. "It is my desire to build a Pentecostal Church in the Toledo Bend Area that will be a 'Lighthouse to the community, that the presence of God would not only be felt in our church but the power of God will Spill out into the community and lives will be effected all around us."  

Renee Jordan from a small child has always had a passion to know more about Jesus. She was saved at the age of 5 in her hometown small Baptist church. At the age of 16 she was seeking more of God not knowing what she was wanting, by accident she ended up at Del Aire Assembly of God in Hawthorne California. Where she felt and saw something she was never taught in the Baptist church ...(the Holy Spirit) scared at first she almost ran from what she had been looking for. But praise God for her awesome youth pastors Daniel and Billie Chaney who helped her to understand the Holy Spirit and show her that he was a vital part of her Christian walk. Filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in an unknown tongues at the age of 17 and her life has been different ever since. She went on to Masters Commission and graduated with a degree in biblical studies. Then proceeded to a lifetime of ministry when she married the man of her dreams in May 2001 and now serving with him reaching the world for Christ.
